One year ago...

We decided to build a house!

That's us on our lot in late December 2010.  Funny, how there was white stuff on the ground while as I type this post one year later it is 50 degrees and rainy! 

We never in a million years thought we'd be able to build a house when we started our home search in earnest 13 months ago.  We love our home, though, and it's been an incredible year.  I wish I could share a picture of our house the way it looks today in beautiful Christmas splendor---but, we didn't decorate the outside of our house this year so that's impossible!  :)  Hopefully next year!
