26 Weeks

Ok, so most everyone knows we have had the most eventful weekend (in a bad way) of Eliza's short little life.  We'll be back to blog a little about it, if we feel up to it.  We'll also blog her 6 month birthday sometime soon.  But, on this past Friday, Eliza turned 26 weeks.  And like the past 25 weeks, here is a special post to commemorate that day.  It was a pretty good day--we had her 6 month well check with Dr. Bensi and Eliza received her flu shot and vaccinations.  I was at a cookie party Friday night, so we actually took pictures on Thursday night in front of our Christmas tree!

We'd also like to thank everyone for all the prayers, thoughts, texts, comments, etc. over the last 2 days.  We feel very supported and blessed to have such amazing family and friends.  Tonight as I type, Eliza is playing with her activity mat like she might do on any night.  We can't express our joy and thankfulness for this moment.
