A long 9 months...

Well, I've reached my due date: June 1, 2011.  It's been a long 9 months and we're finally full term at 40 weeks.  If I don't go into labor naturally, I'll be induced the morning of June 8, at 41 weeks.  My last day of work will be Monday June 6.  Before I unveil my final "official" bump picture, I thought I'd remind everyone and myself of where I started (and where I hope to end up in a couple months, tan and all!):

That is me at 5 weeks pregnant--right after we found out.  Here is me 35 weeks later:

How Far Along: 40 weeks
Size of baby: My doctor guesses she's average, around 7.5 pounds and 20 inches.  There is no way to really know until she decides to come out!
Total Weight Gain/Loss: I'm holding steady b/t 30-35 pounds.  This varies depending on the fun water retention/swelling that comes with 85+ degree weather!
Maternity Clothes: Hopefully  not for much longer!
Movement: She is still stretching around in there--I feel her in my ribs, on my sides, at my belly button...everywhere.  She doesn't have much room!
Sleep: Eh.  Some nights are better than others.
Symptoms: Swelling.  Hip pain comes and goes, still.
What I miss: Being able to lean close to the bathroom mirror.  We got raised vanities at the new house and the big belly is totally in the way.
Cravings: Nothing special at this point. 
Best Moment this week: Just reaching the due date.  
Labor signs: Still having somewhat irregular contractions, which I hope will jumpstart with regularity very very soon.


Thanks you all for the positive comments and thoughts this whole pregnancy!  I'll keep up with the pictures so I can post a final belly picture one of these days.
