24 Months!

Well, Eliza is now officially 2 years and 1 week old!  She had her two year well child visit to the pediatrician last week so it's time to post her monthly update!  We'll be sharing pictures from her birthday week!

Happy to be 2!

Basics:

• 22.8 lbs, 7%--she's on the big girl chart now, so she's dropped some on the percentage.  Oh well!
• 34.75 in, 82%--so she's on the tall side!  She's definitely been slimming down as she grows taller.
• 18-24m clothes for the most part, size 4 diapers (no undies yet!).
• Favorite foods are still peas, beans, and blueberries.  Won't eat green beans ever!

Cool girl!

Fun Stuff:

• Speaks in sentences.
• Knows several letters and numbers, tries to sing ABCs and count.
• Sings "Old MacDonald"
• Likes to tell Mommy & Daddy what to do!
• Names her friends from school and neighborhood.
• Adores "Cinderella" and watches every day.

Milestones:

• First gymnastics class!
• Jumping with 2 feet off the ground.
• Can unlock the iPad.

Likes:

• Dance class and gymnastics class
• Telling Mommy & Daddy to lay down and covering us with a towel or blanket, then patting our backs.  :)
• Being outside.
• Cinderella, Thomas the Train.
• Family.

Help me!

Dislikes:

• Being told no (nothing new here!).
• When we leave after visiting her at school--separation anxiety has amped up.
• Being tired.
• Getting better with the food processor & blender.
• Having water poured on her head, though baths are ok these days until we get to the hair part.
• If we play Cinderella or Thomas on the TV--it needs to be on the iPad!  :)

We just can't believe she's 2 already.  She's so big, smart, and funny.  It's been the best 2 years of our lives!
