This past month has been pretty amazing in terms of Eliza's development. She has done something nearly every day that stops us in our tracks. It's been so fun to see how she's becoming a little person.
Basics:
- Height and weight remains about the same. She must be getting taller though, because her pants are falling off her little behind.
- Size 5 shoes, size 4 diapers, 18-24m clothes (12m onesies, though).
Fun Stuff:
- Uses phrases.
- Knows her colors, animals, most shapes. Identifies for us and points them out herself.
- Calls herself "baby."
- Tries to jump; loves jumping on the bed!
- Tries to dress herself with shirts, but doesn't understand pants.
- Can finally get her shoes on by herself. Socks are still a work in progress.
- Milestone: first Easter egg "hunt."
Her Likes:
- Broccoli! Raw and cooked. She also can say "broccoli" and it's adorable. We can always rely on her to eat this.
- Slides.
- Reading books.
- Putting Elmos, Chica, or anything in/on her froggy potty.
- Brushing teeth.
Our Likes:
- Listening to her talk and say new words/phrases.
- Hearing her sing.
- All of her animal noises.
- Her excitement to see us each day.
Her Dislikes:
- Baths. Big time dislike.
- Leaving daycare when we don't let her play first.
- Random things we can't anticipate--you know, normal toddler behavior.
- Being sick.
Our Dislikes:
- Tantrums.
- When she doesn't eat (it's normal, we know, but want to keep her well fed!).
- That one of her tubes fell out and she got an ear infection!
We just love her to pieces!
I can't believe how time has flown! This is crazy. Kyle was just remarking a few weeks ago how awesome she was at the concert we saw with you all. :)
