If you are on Pinterest, you probably know what a Gallery Wall is. But if you aren't, a gallery wall is basically a space in your home to display pictures and/or artwork in a grouping of similar frames. This weekend, we rearranged the pictures on our living shelves and created my take on the trend.

| A bit different at Eliza's birthday party |
Our frames are a mix of Goodwill finds spray painted dark brown, larger ones we've had since we got married (probably from Michael's), and a cheap set we got from Target on Black Friday this past year.
Here's how it looks now!

Can you find Gary? (and not in the picture frames)
Please forgive the dark & fuzzy phone picture! It's dark out so the lighting was poor. |
I may need to have Gary move the grid mirror up slightly--but otherwise I think this looks great! It displays quite a few pictures. Several are actually hung on the wall, while others are resting on the shelves. Those that I hung are either on 3M picture hanging strips or tack nails, so will be easy to switch out for new photos whenever we want!
You may also notice we rearranged the furniture somewhat--now the loveseat is underneath the shelves and I think it makes for a much better balanced look. Decorating is such a work in progress. I may someday add some prints or art into the mix, but for now it's great! I've also got a black and white gallery wall planned for our master bedroom (which currently has nothing on the walls, yikes!). stay tuned! :)
Thanks so much for posting this, Abby! We are looking to do something similar with our wedding photos and some of Carena's baby pics, so it's great to have some inspiration!
