Spoon feed fail

Our pediatrician recommended we start giving Eliza small quantities of rice cereal by spoon to lead up to food purees.  So, we tried today!  It went well in the sense that Eliza seems ready enough for spoon feeding--no gagging--but she did NOT like the rice cereal!  She refused to eat after several spoonfuls.  She was much more interested in the spoon itself and the table (we tried a hand-me-down high chair, thanks Aunt Jackie, and her bumbo).  It was worth it for the pictures!  And we'll keep trying every couple days.  :)
