No, we're not referring to the first Thanksgiving with the pilgrims, but to Eliza's first Thanksgiving and kickoff to the holiday season. As usual, we headed to Rochester for the Urbin famiy Thanksgiving, to which the Roms have also attended for many years (although we did skip Wednesday night festivities this year). Like nearly every year I can remember, we had a big crowd. Eliza missed her aunts and uncles that couldn't join us, though! We were very excited to meet the newest Urbin cousin, Jillian Ruth.

Eliza also had fun being held by her older cousins.

We were very blessed that day to spend so much time with our families. I'm very thankful to have such a large, loving, boisterous, and supportive family. My family treats Gary like one of their own and he loves them back (after he got over the initial Urbin-shock all in-laws go through at first!). Eliza is one very luck little girl.
We hope you all had wonderful Thanksgivings!
Next year we won't be leaving early and we can have some playtime with all the little girls! So thankful for our family!
ReplyDeleteA very nice post, Abby. Family means everything!
