25 Months Old!

Last week Eliza passed the 25 month old mark.  Summer is just flying by!

  • During the past month Eliza's speech as taken off even more than before, as to be expected.  She still talks in third person, referring to herself as "Baby", but she is also using pronouns these days.
  • Her love of princesses has really taken off, and she knows each of the Disney princesses (except for Merida, our first try at watching Brave didn't go so well: "no bears no bears!").
  • She likes to help us pick out clothes in the morning, and likes to tell Daddy to put on shirts, too.
  • She's becoming more and more of a daredevil--we think being in the 2 year old room is contributing to that--she loves to jump, climb, and play.
  • Gymnastics has been a great hit, and she can swing on the bars on her own and loves to do so.
  • Her ability to identify letters and numbers--including singing the ABCs and counting to 10--has really improved, too.
  • And perhaps best of all, she really likes to run up and hug us, give and receive kisses, and pray with us before bedtime.

In short, she's just pretty awesome all around!  Here's a picture round-up from her 25th month.
