Toddler Tuesday: a day late, whoops!

Bad bloggers!  But, we're back tonight with two posts to make up for it.

To start off, Eliza's been teething and feeling sick for several days and she's also been testing us.  In a particularly weak parental moment, we indulged Eliza with the pacifier that has been sitting on our dresser for--no joke--10 months.  In those 10 months, Eliza has not shown any interest in this pacifier.  But on this particular night while she was screaming her head off and reaching out for the pacifier, we caved and gave it to her.

Then, the next day, she found it on the floor where she'd dropped it in the middle of the night (in our sleep-deprived state we didn't pick it up and hide it).  She was pretty content.

That is some very un-toddler-like behavior!

   We learned our lesson and hid it today.  No more paci!

Even though Eliza has been cranky and sick, she has still been her giggly fun self.
