Take a good look, Mom & Dad, I'm growing up!
- About 20lbs. She's lost some ounces from being sick and teething. We don't have a length/height update this month!
- We're only buying 12-18m sizes now, but she's still in a crazy range. She got sent home from daycare in her emergency pants and they were 3-6m! They looked like shorts, but otherwise fit perfect. She's in a size 3 diaper, still, too. We've moved up to size 4 shoes for the most part, though!
- We're still struggling with cough and congestion, ugh! But, lungs and ears are clear.
- As for teeth, Eliza has all four bottom middle teeth and both bottom molars. On top, this month she's added to her three top teeth, that missing fourth tooth, one molar, and the final molar is slowly
torturingmaking its way through. - As for eating, it doesn't get its own category because there's nothing much new to report this month! She's still loving the same things, but her appetite has gone down slightly. She's still not a big fan of meat.
- She's finally drinking milk! This is great news!
- Eliza is very sure on her feet and can walk, stomp, and is conquering the balance beam at dance class!
Lots of ruffles and bows!
Mommy got a smudge on the camera, boo!
Her Likes:
- Her "motorcycle." Whether it's moving or not! She likes pushing it and riding.
- Pushing buttons, especially of the handicapped automatic door kind.
- Drinking milk.
- Being tickled by Mommy's hair.
- Playing outside.
- Ducks.
- Cars.
- Flags, so random!
Our Likes:
- That she's drinking milk happily.
- The fact that she's drinking milk means we get to rock her before bed again after a couple weeks off.
- The way she tries to engage us in conversation; adorable.
- How interactive she is.
- How she's picking up in dance class and really enjoying herself!
- How she remembers things and understands what we say.
Why, Mommy?!
Her Dislikes:
- Sitting still.
- Not getting her way.
- Being brought inside.
- Being put in her car seat.
- The parachute at dance class--she hates that.
Our Dislikes:
- The tantrums that come along with her growing independence.
- The look on her face when we tell her no or "not nice."
- When she gets hurt or has coughing fits.
- How fast she's growing up!
One final thing to share. This video isn't funny or all that exciting, but it captures Eliza so well. She's learning, exploring, being cute, and we just love that about her. We just had to share!
p.s. again, Abby wrote this post despite it being under Gary's account!
I love how she finally got the paper back in position, then realized she lost the crayon!
ReplyDeleteme, too! I was waiting for her to realize it. :) "uh oh"!
