The extended Urbin family welcomed the second 2011 baby to the world this past Saturday around 6am. My cousin Amanda and husband Chad's daughter Gianna was born a week early and joined Eliza as a June-baby! "Gia" and Eliza are 3 weeks apart in age--how fun for them! Eliza and I visited Gia on Tuesday, and the two babies together were SO cute! Gary and I are just so excited for parents Amanda & Chad, and big brother Quinn!
As I mentioned in my last update, Eliza's aunts Alissa and April (and "tio" Luis!) were visiting from Naples this weekend. Alissa and Luis flew back today, although April had to go back on Sunday for work. We had so much fun with them! Eliza loved the attention :)

We also attended my Uncle Jerry's funeral this past Sunday. We'll miss him and I'm sad he never got to meet Eliza in person. However, sad events also bring family and friends together. We're glad so many people were able to meet Eliza on Sunday--especially out-of-town cousins. Big families can be crazy and create hectic moments, but I wouldn't trade my big family for anything!
