Eliza is one week old today! She is not much of a crier, unless she is getting her diaper changed. We're all getting sufficient sleep, but of course I'd be happy with much more! :)
At Eliza's one week well visit with our pediatrician, she was almost back up to her birth weight (babies can lose up to 10% of their birth weight in the first week or so). She weighed 6 pounds and 14 ounces. We got great feedback from the pediatrician. Eliza is right on track with no health issues. It makes us happy she's gaining back her weight, because it means she's eating well.
After the Dr visit Eliza had her first shopping trip to Target. She slept through the whole thing.
Eliza is often very alert and gives us all sorts of funny facial expressions! We love her half-asleep and dream smiles. Our favorite thing is our quiet times in the mornings when she's alert and we can stare into her eyes. <3

I love her wrinkly little legs/knees in the couch-staring photo. Oh my gosh. Also, the family photo is precious. She's so tiny! Glad to hear everyone is doing well.
