Length: no idea. She'll be measured again at her 9 month well check in March.
Size: Same last month, mostly. 6 month outfits fit well. 3 month onesies still fit! 6-9 month sleepers.
Eating: around half a small container (approx. 2oz) of purees twice/day, either: peas (a fave), carrots, sweet potatoes, pears, apples, prunes, peaches. She drinks 4-5oz bottles of breastmilk around 6 times a day.
Movement: Lots and lots of rolling, scooting (side to side and backwards), and rocking on all fours. No crawling yet!
Sleeping: Eliza sleeps around 11 hours per night. We wish she'd nap better at daycare, but it doesn't seem to affect her behavior or nighttime sleep, so, oh well!
Likes: most of her new foods, waving her arms while yelling, standing, bouncing in our laps--when we do it and on her own!
Dislikes: putting on sleeves, the first bite of new foods, cold milk, items out of reach
Speech: adding in this category! Mamama, Dadadada, Babababa, Nononono. Though we can't see any correlation between the sounds and an object.
Milestones: Rocking on all fours, second tooth.
Can you believe it's been 8 months since Eliza was born? We can't! It's been amazing. We expect for this next month to bring some major milestones along with it--ones we are excited for but still aren't quite ready for! She'll be mobile any day now and our whole worlds will be turned upside down, again. It just gets better every day. :)

Exhibit A: I love to wave my arms!
Exhibit B: still loving it! And showing off my Valentine's headband.
Look at those teeth!!
Showing off my closed mouth grin--a new favorite.
